The Hidalgo County Human Resources Employee Wellness Program was developed with the purpose of improving the quality of life of county employees by promoting healthy lifestyles and aiding employees to maximize benefits and resources provided by Hidalgo County. Yes, the virtual portion of the wellness fair requires registration. Simply follow the link at the top of the page and submit your information. Then, you’ll receive an email confirming your registration for the event. Registration for the in-person portion will take place on-site the day of the event.
This event is open to all Hidalgo County employees and their dependents. We encourage you to participate with your families!
No, you will only need access to internet connection for the virtual component of the wellness fair. There is no software required to participate. If you are unable to register for the virtual event on your Hidalgo County computer, please contact IT to resolve any computer issues.
The virtual event will run from December 9th from 8 AM until 5 PM. The in-person event will run on December 9th from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch break) and on December 10th from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM.
Yes, during the virtual event we will have a Swag Bag for you! You can add all of the documents available to the online Swag Bag in your account and then email them to yourself or share items with colleagues and friends by simply entering their email. At the in-person event, all fliers and handouts are available to take in-person.
No, both portions of the event (virtual and in-person) are completely free for all attendees.
